VOLUNTEERING

Our volunteers are the backbone of our organization. We are always in need of volunteers, and encourage you to contact us if interested. Knowledge of horses is not necessary as we will gladly teach you everything you need to know! It’s a great opportunity for people of all backgrounds to learn more about these beautiful creatures while helping to care for the horses and get them ready for adoption!

VOLUNTEERS TO DO DAILY CARE - NEEDED!!

LOCATIONS

At both Duck Flats & NYS Fairgrounds

BREAKFAST Feeding

Between 7am - 8am
Give the prepared hay and grain buckets to each horse

LUNCH & LOVE

From 9:30am - 11am
Can you:

shovel stalls,
prepare feed,
fill water buckets,
serve horsey lunch and lots of kindness

No prerequisites - we welcome and train

DINNER Feeding

Between 5am - 7am
Give the prepared hay and grain buckets to each horse

Donate through Volunteering

Our most valuable asset, though, is our volunteer force. Whether you wish to clean stalls, brush horses, help with fund raising, participate in community outreach, or donate a skill you have to make our organization stronger and more visible, we welcome you!! Horse experience is not a requirement, though always in demand.
