Priscilla Mahar Animal Welfare Foundation Canine Celebration at the Wegmans Good Dog Park
You should have been there! A successfully adopted and much loved Mr. Duffy showed off his stuff with Laura Hand! Many great people showed up to support our effort and the wonderful horses we have the blessing to care for.

Lorenzo Event Was Wonderful
The photos of people riding were from the Ride and Drive class, where they did a normal driving course, and then unhitched and tacked up the horses right in the ring and hopped on to ride! Very cool. One person rode saddleseat (on a very flashy Friesian), another rode western, and several rode hunt seat, all in the same class. Channel 3 - Wayne's Weatherdeck Party
Our hard working volunteers were treated to a Wayne's Weatherdeck Party on June 17th!!! There was food and fun and lots of appreciation! Even got to meet Crunch enthusiasts!!! Many thanks to Channel 3 and Wayne for a great time!
Marcellus Olde Home Days Parade
We were in the June 5th Parade down Main Street Marcellus! There was a fabulous float filled with equally fabulous Sunshine Horses volunteers waving and throwing candy! And a special treat we had 2 volunteers on horseback riding along side. There was much fun, waving at the crowd and candy tossing and lots and lots of support! What a wonderful day it was - thanks to all that came out to support us!!
May 16th Open House
We recently held our spring Open House. Was a great day to spend with our herd, meeting new people, and seeing our many wonderful volunteers! There were raffles, food, and smiles to share!
Brownie Troop Visits our Herd !!
Recently a local Brownie Troop visited our barn. They brought bags of apples and carrots and lots of eager faces to see our herd. They got the opportunity to meet each horse, learn about horse care and equipment demonstrations from our own experts and enjoy watching a few strut their stuff. They presented beautiful glammed posters prepared for each horse! We want to thank the troop as well as their parents and especially their troop leader for visiting us and all the wonderful gifts!
